Introduction to Tellucare supervision

Tellucare makes it possible for the care service to carry out planned, event-based and continuous supervision, and can be adapted for service recipients who live in their own homes, in care homes, in institutions or something in between.

Supervision in Tellucare is designed to be flexible. This means that there are many ways it can be set up and adapted to different needs and situations. This document goes through the prerequisites that must be in place to enable supervision in Tellucare, and then introduces the different types of supervision with links to read more about them in detail.

 

Preconditions

  • Account is set up and configured by Tellu

  • If the alarms need to be forwarded to the response service, ensure that the integration with Skyresponse is in place

  • Users, service recipients and organisational hieararchy is set up

Planned supervision

Planned supervision is when healthcare professionals visit and check a service recipient according to a predefined supervision plan. Planned supervision can be carried out in person or digitally, via a camera.

Event-based supervision

Event-based supervision is when Tellucare generates an alarm when a worrisome situation is detected for a service recipient. Event-based supervision can be carried out either using a camera or sensors, such as door sensors, smoke detectors, bed sensors, security alarms, etc.

Continuous supervision

Continuous supervision gives healthcare professionals a way to monitor service recipients who have serious diagnoses, such as epilepsy, and need constant, round-the-clock supervision. Continuous supervision from Tellucare makes it possible to carry out supervision through a camera with clear image and sound.

Tellucare supports monitoring of up to 8 simultaneous video streams on a desktop or mobile device.
