Mount, adjust and test camera end-to-end on site
The camera must first be fully provisioned by Tellu Customer Success department before it can be installed at the site. The camera installation must follow given guidelines to ensure a successful usage, this includes verification of camera view and features.
Mounting and adjusting the camera (installer)
It is important that the camera is placed appropriately for optimal performance. This involves distance from the camera to the scene and the camera’s angle to the area of interest. See the article below for guidance on camera placement.
Verify camera view (Installer and Customer/Tellu Support)
The camera’s view of the room must be verified before the camera can be used by the patient
Open the video stream in TelluCare or in the Axis portal
Verify that the camera view is optimal. If not, adjust the camera’s angle (fixed lens) or the lens’s angle (dome camera).
Rotated view (Tellu Support)
If the lens adjustment has resulted in a rotated view , the view must be rotated. This must be done by Tellu Support in Morphean, not in the Axis portal.
Open Morphean
Find installed camera
Adjust camera rotation for the camera
Testing the camera end-to-end on site (Customer)
In TelluCare, open the camera’s assigned patient
Select Camera supervision
Open the video stream
Verify that the video stream opens successfully
